Guestbook is proud to announce the new contribution to our Exchanging Stories – Changing History initiative: Because I Love Her.

Lydie Waridi Kone and Robert Muramira met at the Catholic University of Kinshasa, married, and have two children together. This, however, was no simple task as Robert is Congolese and Lydie is Rawandan. In filmmaker Boy Pasha’s Because I Love Her, the husband and wife reflect on the complications involved in falling in love across a social and national divide.
